Terms of Use

Please read these terms carefully before using Termpayer. They set out your rights and responsibilities as a user of the platform.

1. About Termpayer

Termpayer is a school management platform that helps schools manage staff, students, and academic records. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Termpayer platform. By creating an account or using Termpayer, you agree to these terms in full.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to act on behalf of your school or organisation to create an account. By signing up, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to bind your school to these terms.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password with others. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, notify us immediately at swot.ai25@gmail.com. Each school account is managed by an owner. The owner is responsible for managing staff access and ensuring that all users under the account comply with these terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Termpayer only for its intended purpose — managing your school's staff, students, and academic records. You must not: • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose. • Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent information. • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other schools' data. • Reverse-engineer, copy, or resell any part of the platform. • Introduce malware, spam, or disruptive code. • Use the platform in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation.

5. Subscription & Payment

Termpayer offers a 30-day free trial. After the trial period, continued access requires an active paid subscription. Payments are processed securely via Paystack. We do not store your card details. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We reserve the right to suspend access for accounts with failed or overdue payments.

6. Data & Privacy

Your use of Termpayer is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, store, and protect your data. By using Termpayer, you also agree to the Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of all data you enter into the platform (student records, staff records, etc.). You grant us permission to store and process that data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

7. Student Data

Schools are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate authority to upload and manage student records on the platform. Termpayer stores student data on behalf of schools and does not use student data for any purpose beyond providing the platform's core functionality.

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep Termpayer available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may carry out maintenance, updates, or emergency fixes that temporarily affect availability. We will aim to provide advance notice for planned downtime where possible.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or cause harm to other users or the platform. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before deletion, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of Liability

Termpayer is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform — including data loss, revenue loss, or business interruption. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify account owners by email when material changes are made. Continued use of Termpayer after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Termpayer shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
